Join a chapter
This page is for a student whose school already has a chapter. If yours does not, you can start one: first the principal’s written approval and a Teacher Advisor, then the Chapter Application Form to HQ, then the signed Chapter Agreement.
Find the Chapter Lead and ask for the parent or guardian consent form. Once it is signed and returned, you will be given a named role and a share of your chapter’s farm list, and you will draft emails in your first session in a pair, with an experienced member beside you. Nobody is left to work it out alone.
The first session
A session runs 45 minutes at lunch at your own school. You will be introduced to the chapter, given a role, and shown the list of farms the chapter is working through. The chapter’s Teacher Advisor is copied on every email that leaves it.
Read the weekly session pageWhat you get
A named role, a share of your chapter’s farm list, and work that hands every yes to a food bank. Your Chapter Lead, one of the six roles a chapter fills, runs the weekly session.
